About the SCRIP Program

Do you shop at Fred Meyer, New Seasons, Safeway, Home Depot, Sears, or R.E.I.?  Do you ever eat at Burgerville, Papa Murphy’s, Subway, or Baja Fresh?  If you shop and/or dine at these (or many other) stores, you can help the Ivy School raise money without spending anything extra.

SCRIP cards work just like a gift card or pre-paid credit card for a specific business, while businesses match a percentage of the purchase and give it to the Ivy School.  If you buy $100 in SCRIP cards for Fred Meyer, Fred Meyer gives the Ivy School $4 and you can purchase $100 in merchandise.  Buy $100 of SCRIP cards for New Seasons, and you can buy $100 in groceries while New Seasons gives the Ivy School $5.

Last year we raised over $3000!  That money purchased a new Spanish curriculum for the school and a system for tracking student performance.

Orders are collected once a month on a Monday, and you can pick up your cards that Friday – just in time for weekend shopping.

Cards don’t expire, but, like cash or gift cards, they cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
